F-86A5 Sabre Cockpit | IL-2 Sturmovik: KOREA

Presenting the high-fidelity cockpit for the F-86A5 Sabre, developed for the upcoming flight sim IL-2 Sturmovik: KOREA at 1C Game Studios.

As the Art Lead on this asset, I was responsible for its development from the initial blockout to final in-game integration. My direct modeling and texturing work focused on the core components that define the pilot's experience: the main and auxiliary instrument panels, the pilot's seat, the gunsight, and the side panels. The texturing of the interior was a joint effort, completed in collaboration with a colleague to ensure full coverage and a unified look.

The development was a collaborative process supported by a talented team, who modeled key elements like the rear equipment and throttle based on my blockout. This project also benefited greatly from the expertise of a historical consultant, whose input was invaluable in achieving an authentic and credible representation of this iconic aircraft.

My primary role was to establish the visual foundation, execute the most complex modeling tasks, and finalize the cockpit, ensuring it met our high standards for both visual quality and historical accuracy.
